How to choose your ring size
The best thing to do is to visit your local jeweller and ask them to measure your ring size. However, if that is not possible you can use the following instructions to help you determine.
The String Method
You can use a piece of string to measure your ring size. Before you do make sure your hands are nice and warm so that can get the correct measurement. Your fingers are larger when warm so you need to take this into account.
Take a piece of sting and wrap it around your ring finger. Hold it in a position with your other hand so that it feels comfortable. When you are happy with its fit, measure the piece of string againt a ruler, note the measurement in millimeters and use the chart below to select your ring size.
What is the unit of measurement?
Ring measurements are presented in both American, UK and European/Australian ring sizes. These are set out on the chart below, the American system is based on letters, while the European/Australian system is based on numbers, using the chart below you will be able to determine your ring size in either units.
