Celtic Knot Jewelry
Celtic and Trinity Knots are the most distinctive and extensively used motifs in the Celtic style of insular art. Interlace patterns, endless knots and knot patterns first appeared around the 3rd and 4th centuries A.D. and became common in the adornment of Christian monuments and manuscripts from about the 8th century onwards. The 'Book of Kells', Ireland's most famous set of early Christian manuscripts, is richly illuminated using these patterns. Our handcrafted range of Celtic and Trinity Knot Jewelry, draws direct influence from the relics and artefacts of this time.
